ELEANOR FAMEThe 'Gone In 60 Seconds' story

GONE IN 60 SECONDS is a movie made in the year 2000 starring Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi, Christopher Eccleston, Robert Duvall, Vinnie Jones and Will Patton . The film was directed by Dominic Sena, and written by Scott Rosenberg. It was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Eleanor was also the name of the last car used in all the big chase scenes in the 2000 Movie. But this time she was a movie car based on the 1967 GT500 by Shelby but then modified to create “a realistic but souped up GT500”. This car was created by Chip Foose and Steve Stansford both legendary car designers and builders.

Die-hard fans will know it is actually a remake of the 1974 cult movie of the same name created by Toby Halicki which used a Yellow Mach 1 Mustang called Eleanor.

Our Eleanors are based on the 2000 movie and are made like the original Shelby’s. We think that the Shelby Eleanors just look better and have more class than the 1973 version.
